| Description | Synology M2D18 is a dual M.2 SSD adapter card designed to boost NAS I/O performance by reducing random I/O latency for tasks such as photo indexing, file search, and virtualization. It provides two internal M.2 slots that support both NVMe and SATA SSDs (note: some NAS models only support SATA or NVMe — see compatibility notes). The adapter uses a PCIe 2.0 x8 host interface, includes attachable heatsinks for thermal management, and supports 2280/2260/2242 form factors. Includes mounting brackets and accessories for flexible installation. |
