Powered by an Intel Xeon D-1541 8-core CPU (2.1 GHz base, up to 2.7 GHz turbo) and 16 GB DDR4 ECC UDIMM (expandable to 64 GB across 4 slots), the RS4021xs+ delivers high throughput and data integrity for virtualization, backup, collaboration, surveillance and other multi-user workloads. Built-in networking includes 2 x 10GbE RJ-45 and 4 x 1GbE RJ-45 with link aggregation/failover support; storage connectivity supports 16 hot-swappable 3.5" LFF bays (also supports 2.5" SATA drives/SSDs) and up to 40 drives with RX1217/RX1217RP expansion units.
