The TS0842 provides an additional 16 open collector outputs to the Challenger Panel, Access Controller, & DGP. The TS0841 & TS0842 can be used in combination, provided the maximum output count is not exceeded. Open collector outputs differ from relay contacts in that they provide a short circuit to ground.
