Reader Covers are designed to offer a high level of protection, by introducing an extra physical barrier, mitigating damage by impact, to the security proximity reader, while still allowing RF signals to pass through the cover, with minimal degradation.

Screw holes can be plugged with anti-tamper plugs, making removal difficult.

All sides are tapered, reducing ligature attachment.
